A wonderful antique Edwardian vesta case pendant modelled in sterling silver with half of the front overlaid in a rosy 9ct gold. It’s chased with beautiful ivy patterning across both sides, symbolising everlasting love and devotion, with a shield in the bottom right corner, a striker underneath and a flip top lid with lots of space within to store matches.

It’s highly collectable, in great condition and complete with the maker’s mark, belonging to Smith & Bartlam and Birmingham hallmarks dating to 1903.
